AMERICO-GERMAN MARRIAGES.
BRIDES REFUSED ADMISSION TO UNITED STATES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association BERLIN, July 21. Several thousand American soldiers proceeding home from the Rhine front asked their commanders to permit their brides and fiancees to accompany them. Permission was refused on the ground that Americo-German marriages would not he recognised before the American ratification of peace.
