Tho circumstances leading up to the use of the words complained of wore described by .the plaintiff as follows : The defendant, in trying to balance a tumbler on his forehead, let it fall and break. He threw 6d on to tlip counter to make good the damage, but plaintiff pointed out that as the glasses cost him 8s 9d a dozen the defendant ought to pay 9d. Plaintiff maintained that lie was a British subject, and loyal to his King and country. The jury found for the defendant.
