The statement made by Dr Florence Keller at a meeting ot the JNational Council of Women regarding infants at motion pictures, was commented upon last week by the manager of an Auckland picture, syndicate. Dr. Keller, -in emphasising the potential danger to the health or the community by the admission or infants and very young children, asserted that the sun had never, had. a chance of killing the germs in picture theatres, nor was there a sufficient and constant supply of tres* l air to minimse the danger. the manager in question said that though it was impossible to allow the rays of the sun to. penetrate into a theatre, ample provision was made by way of fumigating and cleanliness for sanitary and wholesome conditions.
