M.P., for "VVailsato, at the annual dinner of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. He stated that it had been pointed, out to him that the price of cement had been increased 50 per cent recently, and that users of cement in the North Island were unable to buy in the- South Island, and vice versa. Mr Young added that he had telegraphed to the Board or Trade suggesting that the matter should be investigated with a view to protecting the community.
