WOOL PURCHASE SCHEME.
ARRANGEMENT TILL YEAR AFTER WAR. AGREEMENT WITH HOME GOVERNMENT. Press Association Telegram. WELLINGTON, June 19. The Acting Prime Minister is in receipt of information from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, through the Governor-General, 'to the effect that the Imperial Government has notified the terms under which the purchase of wool from the Dominion will be continued. It is notified that the purchase will be continued during the currency, of the war and thereafter for one full year, commencing on the 30th of June following the termination of hostilities. The price is the same as had been paid during the pr-wr. two seasons and the Imperial Government undertakes to share equally any profits arising from sales for other than British Government purposes. Payment # is made by the Imperial Government on the 14th da v after valuation and all storage after 28 days and shipping expenses are borne by the Imperial Government lint] shipping facilities are provided. _ 1 The Acting-Prime Minister notifies ! that he is in communication with Mr Massey over some of the details, but those do not materially affect the scheme of purchase.
