SIGNIFICANT SPEECH BY MR ORCHARD. "SYDNEY, June 10. Speaking at tlie Public _ Servese Club on Wednesday, the Minister of Recruiting (Mr. Orchard) said the time had com e for the Government to seriously consider increasing the rates of soldiers’ pensions. He did not see why some shonild make all the sacrifices and others no sacrifices at all. “There are people”, tkrs* Min’ster added, “who have done well out of the war. I say they should be made to help their flesh and blood, and I think the people will stand behind a Government which takes that stand.” Tho Minister added: —Something must he done to stop “ the seditious stuff that emanated from the'Domain on Sundays. W r e must have men, and he believed that under the new sysCommonwealth Official Correspondent, tern we would ,get them.
