STEAMERS : WELLINGTON-NAPIER-GISBORNE SERVICE. The S.S. “RIPPLE” maintains a weekly service between these ports. She loads in Wellington on Mondays and Tuesdays, Napier Thursdays, and discharges and loads in Gisborne for Wellington on Fridays.

AUCKLAND-GTSBORNE-NAPIER TO EAST COAST BAYS. The S.S. “MAKO,” running between Auckland. Gisborne and Napier, and the S.S. “KAHTJ” between Auckland and Gisborne, maintain a weekly passenger and cargo service with the East Coast Bays.

NAPIER-WAIROA SERVICE. The S.S. “TANGAROA,” in conjunction with other steamers, runs regularly "(weather permitting) between Napier and Wairoa.
