The Prime Minister states that 48 applications have been received froni retail butchers in connection, with the supply of meat from freezing works for sale to the public The applications came from . Auckland. Hawke s Bav, Wellington. Wanganui Southland. Otago, Taranaki and Gisborne. For tv-two permits have been granted and ’inquiries are. being made regarding the other applications.
