ANOTHER ARREST IN THE BUSH

John Franz Eugene Baucke, of PaJiiatuaj drawn in the ballot some months ago, disappeared the day before be was warned to parade. _He w’as arrested at midnight last night at the foot of the Tararua range, on the Palmerston side. He is believed to have been hiding in the bush. The police on botli sides of the range had. been keeping a good look-out. The arrest was made by the Palmerston police.
