The Arahura. arrived from Napier early yesterday morning, and left later for Auckland via Tokomarn Bay. The Arahura returns as usual on Sunday, leaving in the evening for Napier. The Mouowai, which has again taken up the East Coast service, will arrive hero about 7 nr 8 o’clock this morning. She will leave in the. evening for Auckland direct., The vessel brings a good deal of cargo from the south, but owing to the new train regulations at Lyttelton was unable to pick up all the cargo offering at that port-for Gisborne. A passenger steamer will arrive from Auckland this afternoon and will sail in the evening for Napier and southern ports. As expected, the Ripple has been delayed in the south, and will not arrive here till to-morrow morning. She will sail for Wellington direct- in tiie afternoon. Hie Union Co.’s cargo steamer from Auckland passed East Cape at 5 p.m." yesterday, and will arrive here early this morning. TELEGRAPHIC SHIPPING. EAST CAPE.—Passed south : Te Anau (5 p.m.).
