GERMANY’S BIG EFFORT. SUBMARINE SUPPLY SHIPS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received March 13. 10.25 p.m.) LONDON, March 13. The Daily Chronicle’s. Amsterdam correspondent- says that the latest telegrams from Germany state that two large submarines of the Deutschland type are now acting as supply ships for smaller craft operating in the Atlantic. Four other large submarines are being commissioned for similar services. Special efforts are being made to sink shipping between America and England. Germany is attempting to perfect a decisive submarine campaign in case of war with America.
