ROBINSON, Town Clerk. GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL. SPECIAL LOAN OF £50,000 STORMWATER DRAINAGE. TN the matter of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,” and the Acts amending the same_ respectively, NOTICE is hereby given that the Gisborne Borough Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of £50,000, for the purpose of Stormwater Drainage. (a) The particular purpose for which the Loan Is required is for Stormwater Drainage for the Borough of Gisborne. (b) The . sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £50,000. (c) The proposed security and the provision for repayment of the Loan is a Special Rate of § of a Pennj in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said Borough of Gisborne as security for the Interest, and a sinking Fund of 4 per cent, in connection with isuch Loan. The whole of the Loan to be repayable 30 years from the dav of issue. Painters’ Spirits, Benzine, or Light Oil or other Explosives or dangerous material shall bo kept by any person within the Mangapapa Town District, except in pursuance of such written license in that behalf specially provided for by Part VIII. and all Sections relative thereto of the Mangapapa Town Board By-laws : 1 rovided always that it shall bo lawful to keep any quantity not exceeding 21bs of gunpowder, 8 gallons of benzine or petroleum, in any private dwelling-house.
