A. M. M yers, to take, necessary steps to secure an adequate and proper supply of coal. Persons refusing to supply desired information are liable to prosecution. The Minister is authorised to make provisions for the storage of coal by taking possession of hulks, wharves, and other places. Coal must not be imported without the eon. sent of the Minister,and if desired the use of such, shipments may be controlled by the Government. Clearance of colliers must receive the sanction of the Minister. An advisory committee consisting of Messrs A; EL. Miles, A. Mclntosh and G. Wilson has been appointed to assist the Minister.
