HINTS OF TROUBLE. (Press Assoca t• ■ U iem am.) WESTPORT, Feb. 13. Owing to the alleged refusal of the coal-owners to meet the Miners’ Federation in conference, it is understood that the miners at Denniston have determined to restrict the output ,or coal from that mine and are limiting their earnings to 12s per day. hl-om inquiries made, it is learned that the Westport Coal Co., has not been requested for a conference by either the Miners’ Federation or the district unions ; also the Westport Coal Coyis not a member of the Coal Owneis Association. It is said that tlieGianitv Miners’ --Union, at a meeting on Monday night, decided by a large majority, not to restrict the output at the Milburton mine. ’
