GISBORNE DISTRICT BUSINESS (By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) Napier, Feb. 12. At the Land Board to-day 'the fr-{_ lowing applications for the fee simple, were approved .—Section .63, Tinircto village, 10 acres, four perches, Sarah Berry; Section 37, block 15 Hangaim 179 acres, two roods, 10 perches, jl Berry; Section 6-1, Tiniroto Village, nine acres, three roods, 32 perches James Berry; Section 36, Block 11,Hangaroa, 179 acres, 33 perches, J»». Berry; Section two, Block nine, 2Teliaka, 627 acres, Robert Whitson Johnston. The ranger reported on 27 holdings in the Ponparae and Willows settle., merits, containing 275 acres, thteo roods, 34 perches. The improvements required were £-2480 2s 4d: effected £l4Ol ss.
