PERSONAL NOTES.
Mr. H. C. Cornish, who has left Messrs. Adair Bros, to take up a position with Messrs. Sargood, Son and Ewen at Auckland, was presented on behalf of the staff of Affair Bros, on Saturday, with a case of Loewe pipes, also a sovereign case? -The presentation was made by the manager. Mr. O. C. Cox, who wished Mr. Cornish every success in his new sphere of activity.
Mr. Robert Williamson, touring manager for J. C. Williamson, Ltd., arrived in Gisborne yesterday morning by the Westralia to make arrangements for the Comic Opera Company, who are to appear at the Opera House on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, February 7, S, 9, in ‘.‘High Jinks,” “So Long, Letty,” and “To-Night’s the Night.”
