'Hie Daunovirke Chamber of Commerce passed a resolution, calling the attention of the Government t<V the extent ol the aggregation of fanning districts, and urging it to pa s s and enforce legislation to prevent aggregation of separate farms where each original iarm is of sufficient area to provide adequate means of livelihood for one man and his family. The Chamber also passed a resolution urging the restriction of the export of white pine timber; also to take stops to preserve all available white pine forests.

It was point--1 ed out that the use of such eggs was : distinctly against the Pure Food Act. and if it continued if would seriously menace the whole poultry industry of the Dominion, on tho development of which many thousand pounds had been expended. The Minister promised to go carefully into the whole question, adding tluit Lis desire was to improve the position of the poultry industry in every possible way.
