NOTES. .The Richardson Co.’s s.s. Ripple arrived yesterday moping from AVellington via Napier, with a number' of passengers from the latter port. After discharging a general cargo, the vessel sailed for south on the re‘turn journey last evening. Tho Huddart-Parker Co.’s s.s. Victoria did not leave Auckland on Thursday, and no news of her departure was received last night. It is probable that she will sail for soutli from Auckland to-day, following the usual Sundav time-table at this port. The Union Co.’s, s.s. Tarawera, on account of the large number of passengers desiring passage to this port, leaves Napier to-day for a daylight trip up. The vessel will arrive this afternoon, and will be tendered on arrival and at 5 p.m., sailing later for Auckland via Tokomaru Bay. Tho Shaw, Savill and Albion- Co.’s Pakelia will sail this afternoon for Auckland, after loading wool and meat for Home ports. The ketch Coronation arrived hack in port yesterday morning, the landward winds preventing her from continuing her trip north. The Richardson Co.’s s.s. Mako will arrive here to-morrow from Auckland via Qoast bays, and later will sail on a daylight trip to Napier with passengers and mails.
