GISBORNE CLUB.
There was a large attendance at the Gisborne green yesterday afternoon. The weather was beautiful, although hot, and the greens were in excellent playing order. The following games were played : Thursday Pairs.—Oxenliam and W. Smith 15 defeated R. Crawford and Kyme 14; Morgan and T. A. Crawford 21 defeated A. Wade and D. C. Cox 12. Junior Singles.—H. L. Hueston 24 defeated Feilding 23. ' Champion Singles.—W. Smith 19 defeated W. J. Hueston 15; Paltridge 15 defeated W." Findlay 11. Ordinary Games—Hooper and Rev. Hamilton 27 defeated Murray and H. Miller 23; Feilding, W. Findlay," and Ponsford 23 defeated Gordon, Green, and J. W. Witty 21; J. W. Witty, Redstone, Seymour, and Thelwall 23 heat H. L. Hueston, Corson, R. Robertson and W. J. Hueston 14.
