To be run. under the New Zealand Rules of Trotting. 2. All nominations and acceptances must be accompanied by cash. Also the nominator of any horse must give the horse’s best time and iast three performances. ?. The colors of rider or driver must be given at time of nomination, failing which a fine of £1 will be enforced.

4. All protests must be made in writing and handed to the secretary within ten minutes of the decision of the race, accompanied by a deposit of £5, which shall be forfeited if the nrotest be disnr'ssea.

5. All protests and objections shall be settled by the Judicial Committee. 6. All horses at the time of nomination must be registered with the N.Z. Trotting Association.

7. All drivers, riders and trainers must hold current season’s licenses, and the provident fee paid before starting; • 8. By the entry of or endeavoring to enter a horse, every person having or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept all conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these rules and to be barred from questioning the action or conduct of such Club, or other body holding a sports meeting, or any official of the Club, or such other body, in- vespect of such horse or any person connected therewith, otherwise than is provided for ,in Part XXX.
