TOKOMARU BAY
(From our Soecial Corresp indent.) TOK'OMARIT BAY, Jan. 15. The secretary of the Tokomaru Bay Athletic Club' informs me that the Club will have something over £l2O as a result of the Patriotic Sports meeting held on Boxing Day. This amount includes £3 5s lvliich was collected by two members in the Lyric Picture Hall during the screening of the programme on the night of the sports, and a further £2 5s which ivas collected by several young ladies at a tennis party at “Bexhaven,” Mr W. B. Mill’s homestead during the- New Year holidays- ” T . Mr T. Conolo, ivho won the Handicap Chopping event at the sports meeting, handed the prize money over to the Club towards the fund.
