Messrs. Samson Bros., _ auctioneers, report the following prices at their usual weekly sale on Saturday:—Poultry; The supplies are very small, and prices remain high.. We sold hems at 4s per head, cockerels 3s to 3s 3d 1 , ducks and drakes 5s per head; eggs Is per dozen, butter Is per lb, best southern potatoes 10s per cwt, new potatoes 3il! per lb, onions lid per lb, Nelson apples 12s 6d per case, tomato plants, cabbage plants, and small vegetables at usual rates.
