STATEMENT BY THE PREMIER. tby telegraph—special correspondent] WELLINGTON, March 9. “All the eight recommendations of members to .be appointed to the Board of Agriculntre have now been forwarded to the Minister for Agriculture by the A. and P. Society, and it now remains for me to make the appointments on behalf of the Government,” said the Right Hon. W. F. Massey to a reporter to-day, “but I shall not be able to announce my four nominees for some weeks yet because I have to communicate with the gentlemen concerned. The one exception is Mr J. G. Wilson, Dominion President of the Farmers’ Union, .and of the A. and P. Conference. He has agreed to accept the positon of president of the Board.”
