In the House of Lords Lord Lansdowne, in moving the appointment of a Marconi Committee, said Lord Loroburn joined on condition that the charges against Lord Murray were sjKicitically formulated, and the inquiry limited thereto. The methods of the committee would be judicial and both sides of the House desired his appointment. Lord Crewe said laud Lorehurn had agreed with him that the Committee was unnecessary, but nevertheless be desired, it the Committee was constituted, that- it should be as strongly judicial as possible.
