The Grand Jury found true hills in all seven cases put before them. A Chinaman named Shoo SI ling uas found not guilty of attempting to calnally know and indecently assail 1 ting a Maori girl under 1G lears of age. John Mahalm, who pleaded guilty to a charge of theft of two totalisator tickets yiilued at £45 10s, was admitted to_probation. . A foreigner named Henry Schilling pleaded guilty to a charge of indecent assault on a married woman and was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. •
