ROWING
GISBORNE CLUB
The usual weekly Committee meeting of the Gisborne Rowing Club was held in the Boathouse last evening. There were present: Messrs Hansen (in the chair), Quigley, Gerrard, Winter, Pycroft, Faram and Hutton. Mr C. D. Topliss was elected an active member of the Club.'
The following alterations in crews in training fop the Kennedy Memorial Fours were approved: Langridge to take over Wylie’s crew, Roberts to replace Ambridge in Doyle’s crew. In view of the forthcoming races for the Licensed Victuallers' Shield at Tolago Bay it was decided to procure a set of the best girder oars. D. Walker was appointed! coxswain to steer in the representative races. Messrs Jeffreys and Pycroft were appointed a visiting committee for the ensuing week.
