Several of the lots to be offered are advertised in this issue, the sale will take place at 2 p.m. to-morrow. A remarkable coincidence is reported bv Messrs Baldwin and Hayward, the well-known Patent Attorneys. Recentlv they received from the Hon. Sir Charles Parsons particulars of an apparatus for producing high vacua. Tne same mail brought details of an almost similar invention from Monsieur Blanc, a noted French Savant.
