Champion (Auckland) 1; A. Linton (Waitemata), 2; L. Hill (Canterbury), 3. Only competitors. A close race throughout. Won by two yards, half a yard between second and third. Time smin 58 3-ssec. Auckland Kins the Yaklhurst Shield' for the third time in succession. 400 Yards Flying Squadron Championship.—Canterbury (C. Atkinson, W. Cookson, H. Jerred, L. Anand), 1; Auckland (M. Campion ? A. Cookson (East Christchurch), 1; M. ChamWaitemata), 2: L. Anand (Opawa), 3. Atkinson (Opawa) akso started. Won by a touch. Time 28secs. Water Polo, final.—Canterbury beat Wellington by two goals to nil. Canterbury’s combination was too strong.
