GISBORNE CLUB. The-usual weekly Committee meeting of the Gisborne Rowing Club was held in the boathouse last evening. There were present: Messrs Cowan <--? the chair), Winter, Jeffreys, Quigley, Hansen, Faram, Pycroft, oerrard and Hutton. A letter was received from Mr G. Norton, of Wellington, stating that the new double scull on , order was ready for shipment but was being delayed on account of the strike.

‘The following new members were elected: —H. D\ Anderson, J. W. Holmes, H. G. Hogg, and P. Stubbs It was decided that the races for the Buscke and Pettie Fours should commence on Tuesday, 2oth November, and that entries for the next fours should close in the shed on 30th inst. at 10 a.m. A selection committee for this season was appointed' consisting of Messrs Hansen, Pycroft and Quigley.
