P.B. ROWING CLUB.
PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. The Poverty Bay Rowing Club’s Hall was thronged with a happy gathering last evening on the occasion of the annual social and presentation of prizes. The evening spent was a most enjoyable one, and dancing was continued'until the early hours of this morning. The M.’sC. were Messrs E. Roche, J. Webb and E. Corbett, and the music was played by Copley’s orchestra, while the catering was in the capable hands of Mrs Erskine. During the evening, Mr W. Lissant Clayton, presented the following prizes:— Photos, presented by Mr B. Cox: Won by V. L. Ensor (bow), E. Boreham (2), C. Hall (3), 0. Hansen (str), and A. E. Kirk (cox). Medals donated by Mr' Nasmith: Won by G. Caulton (bow), A. Webster (2), L. Stitchbury (3), C. Clarke (str.), and H. Hacche (cox.) Gold medals for double-scuil races given by Mr E. P. Joyce: Won by E, Hansen (bow), R. Patty (str), and H. Hacche (cox.) Trophy for single-scull race, presented by Air W. Fraser: Won by J. Lloyd. Air J. Broad’s cup and Duthie and Co.’s trophies for double-scull race: Won by R. Clay (bow), G. Caulton (str.), and A. E. Kirk (cox). President’s fours and Air F. Hall’s medals: Won by C. A. Paul'(bow), E. Whitfield (2), E. AlcGuffie (3), H. J. Holschier (str.), and A. E. Kirk (cox). Caps were handed' to the folloAving representative double-scull crews who were successful at the races held at Tolago Bay:—Juniors, R. Douglas (bow), J. Prickett (str.). and A. E. Kirk (cox); 10-stone, 0. Hansen (bow), C. Clark (str.), and A. E. Kirk (cox) ; youths, E. Corbett (bow), L. L. Winter and A. E. Kirk (cox).
