QUARREL AT A FACTORY.
BOY ALLEGED TO HAVE STABBED ANOTHER, LAD. [PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM] INVERCARGILL, July 28. At the Police Court to-day Arthur James Simpson, aged 15. a message hoy employed at Smith’s v;,/ocf\vare factory, was charged with wounding Robert James Blackmore, aged 17, an apprentice employed at the same factory. It appears that on Saturday afternoon Blackmore ordered Simpson to assist some employees, and Simpson refused. Blackmoro thereupon took hold of him and, in the ensuing scuffle,, Blackmoro was stabbed deeply in tho back with a knife, which Simpson had in his hand. Blackmore was removed to the hospital in a serious condition, but is now progressing favorably. Simpson was remanded on bail until Friday.
