Mystics who know and can teach with' authority, as their “Master taught and not as the scribes,” are more needed than, ever in our churches. The Christian spirit and not the letter is required, and this the Mystics have shown throughout the ages. The effect of Mysticism on Christianity was the subject at the Theosophical Society last night.* Messrs Baldwin and Rayward, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, report that the following applications have been made recently for letters patent of New Zealand:— J.
