Mr H. E. Hill notifies in this issue that he lias a restaurant for sale in the centre of the town, and also a wellknown tea and luncheon rooms in a central position. A property on the Ngatapa road, containing 16 acres 3 roods 27 perches, together with a dwelling, was offered for sale on Saturday by the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd.,, under instructions from Messrs. C. and W. H. Gedye. There were a large number of Patutahi settlers present, hut no sale resulted, the property being passed in after bidding had reached £BO an acre.
