In view of the hold small-pox had gained in the city and suburbs the obvious course was to make vaccination universal, to protect the willing against the unwilling. The Government s proposal was an exhibition of want of courage in dealing with an urgent matter. He concluded his speech by moving a direct want-of-confklence motion. The debate in the House was adjourned until this afternoon. Mr. Holman, the Premier, gave notice of a motion rescinding the authorisation of the printing of the document tabled by ex-Speaker W lllis, attacking the Lieutenant-Governor and that the document be expunged from the records of the House. The document, ho said, had not been read when Mr Willis secured the motion tor printing it, which the Government supported.
