GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGY IST’S REPORT.

Present indications are for strong south to south-easterly winds with cold and damp weather; heavy showers in many parts and hail squalls in the South. * The temporary fall in the barometer which lias taken place today is a disturbing factor, indicating that the stormy weather is not yet altogether past. A rapid increase in barometric pressure is now due.
