EXPECTED ARRIVALS.

NOTES

Owing to the heavy .sea which was running at Napier the Takapuna did not leave that port until lato last night, and in consequence will not arrive until late this morning. ' The Maitai leaves Napier to-night Tor Gisborne, and on arrival here to-morrow morning will be tendered as usual, prior to the steamer continuing her voyage north.

The Union Co.’s produce steamer Rosamond leaves Auckland at midday to-mor-row for Gisborne via Tolago Bay, and is due here early on Monday morning. The Kanaka is loading at the Bluff, for Timaru, Napier and Auckland, and if sufficient cargo offers will call at Gisborne.

The Richardson steamers Ripple and Kahu are due from southern ports today, and will sail on completion of discharge. The Patoa Shipping Co.'s Arapawa is expected from Lyttelton to-day. The Monowai leaves Auckland to-mor-row for Gisborne, and will arrive as usual on Sunday afternoon, sailing later for the south.
