The judgment in the case against Sir Stuart Samuel for illegal voting in. the House of Commons declared that fllegal voting was proved, but Oswald Forbes’ claim was barred by previous writs by Burnett and Chambers. The judge, added that the t-hiee informers Ifad! proceeded under a wrong statute. Judgment was given for tho defendant, with costs, on technical grounds.
