(Received May 28. 8 p.m.) PORT DARWIN, May 28.
The local branch of the Amalgamai ed Workers’ Federation has passed a resolution agreeing to return to work on condition that all strikers are re - instated. The Administrator has refused to reinstate all strikers, and the Union has wired to the Minister. The Commissioner holds that since many positions have been filled anil all the strikers did not return to work by the given time, they have been deemed to have resigned.
There Is much curiosity regarding the outcome.
