ELECTION PETITION.
THE LINWOOD RECOUNT. rPMSS ASSOCIATION WCIiECBAW . CHRISTCHURCH, May 28. The official recount of the votes polled at the municipal election for councillors to represent Linwood Ward on tho City Council was completed this afternoon, and though some minor alterations were made m the total, the votes given for each candidates as the result of the poll are not effected. Ten votes which were allowed b j the deputies' were disallowed at the recount, increasing the number of informal votes cast from 2;> to 35. ~
