Despite her 91 years, the Duchess of Mecklenburg came to the station. Their Majesties had a hearty and popular reception, and returned to Berlin in th© evening, where they witnessed the new opera “Kerkyra,” which is based on th© Kaiser’s explorations in Corfu. There wore extraordinary scenes at the Museum Applied to Art, where Princess Victoria’s wedding dress and presents are exhibited. A crowd of women engaged in band, to-hand struggles to secure admission. Many fainted, and the police were powerless to maintain order.
