ACTION
REFUSES USE OF PARK. CUNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT! SYDNEY, May 13. A committee of the City Council, by five to four, negatived the football clubs’ application to play matches on Moore Park on Sundays. The suoporters of the application were all Laborites. They pointed out that thousands went golfing and surfing on, Sundays, and .said they could see no objection to a young fellow plaving a healthy game, which was better than-loafing about the streets.
