Centenary Committee, warned members of the likelihood of non-Anglo-Saxon citizens of the United States regarding the Anglo-American peace celebrations as the”first step towards an Anglo-Ame-rican alliance against Germany. Foreign citizens in the United States, he said, were not- friendly to Britain.
