The bearing of the conspiracy case in. which Airs Drummond and six other women and a man named Clayton, a consulting analyst, are charged with conspriruig with Mrs Pankhurst and others to damage property, has been resumed. Evidence was cnllod as to inflammatory speeches, letters, and circular© relating to the formation of a “Young. Hot-Bloods’ ,Society,” consisting of unmarried m unbers of the Social and Political Union. ■ Tho case was adjourned until May 13. A suffragette was captured in the Dublin Art Gallery daubing Mr. Redmond’s bust with green paint in revenge for the manner in which he voted on the Suffrage Bill. During the proceeding Mrs Drummond twice collapsed in the dock, and was finally carried out of Court insensible. She was allowed bail, and was removed to a nursing home. Except the man Clayton all who carried cut the hunger strike were allowed out on bail. (Received May 9, 10.45 p.m.) The St. Paul’s Cathedral authorities think that the bomb was constructed so as not to explode, but merely to attract attention and gain the suffragettes notoriety.
