TURKEY’S DRAFT PEACE TREATY.
WAITING THE ALLIES REPLY.
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT (Received May 9, 10.45 p.m.) LONDON, May 9. Tho Ambassadors’ Conference has remitted the Austfo-Italian Albanian project for the consideration of tho Powers. Tho schqmo provides for a national gendarmerie officered by a minor European Power, Austria and Italy to provide a loan on behalf of the new realm.
The conference is not likely to resume its sittings until after the Whitsun holidays. , It is understood that tho Powers and Turkey -have assented to the draft of tho peace treaty, but the allies have not yet replied. Essad Pasha telegraphed to Ishmail Ejemal denying that he proclaimed himself King of Albania or negotiated with King Nicholas regarding the Throne. _ Ho says famine alone compelled him to surrender. Salonika cables state that further fighting between the Greeks and Bulgarians near Drama is reported. The Porte has ordered the repatriation of the'Turkish troops in Albania.
