MEETING OF TAIRAWHITI BOARD.

SITTING RESUMES TO-DAY

The Tairawhiti Land Board resumed its sitting at Lysnars Hall yesterday morning, before His Honor Judge Jones and the business was of a considerable nature, the Board not rising until 5 p.m. The sitting will' continue to-day, and probably to-morrow. Applications for confirmation of leases were granted as follows (the terms of the lease being in parenthesis in each ease):— Peacocke and Co., Ltd. (Messrs. Nolan and Sheet), from Heni Mare to and others, of Marangairoa No. 28, comprising 490 acres (42 years). Confirmation of alienations other than leases- were granted as below: — Moralna Hone to John Clark, jun. (Messrs, Nolan and Sheet), transfer of Okaunga F. Harata Wliarekino to Ralph Manley Gore (Messrs. Nolan and Sheet), transfer of Pouawa 3A. Hinehau to Kani and others to Ralph Manley Gore (Messrs. Nolan and Sheet), transfer of Pouawa 2H, 18.
