The ferry steamer Takapuna is due from Napier early this morning, and as usual will sail to-night on the return trip. /1 The Union Co’s Mokoia. which was la day late on her northward run, having been delayed by heavy weather at Lyttelton. arrived early yesterday morning, and after being tendered by the launch at 6 o’clock, left for the north. The auxiliary topsail schooner Huia, which arrived from Greymoutli -yesterday, while in Cook Strait ran into the southerly gale which was experienced locally. The schooner brings 112,905 feet of timber for this port. She is expected to complete discharge and sail for Auckland on Monday. The Indrabarah completed loading yesafternoon and left for Wanganui. The y.ealandic has been held up by the strikes in Timaru and it not expected to arrive here until Wednesday next. The Wimmcra arrives from southern ports tb-morrow morning and leaves for Sydney via ports later in the morning. The Craig steamer Inga arrived in the Ray from Newcastle at 9.25 last evening, and will come up to the wharves at 7.30 this morning.
