Replying to Mr. Bonar Law, the Unionist Leader}, the Premier (Mr Asquith) said there would be only a formal committee stage of the Home Rule. Disestablishment, and Scottish Temperance Bills. The usual praeedure would be a waste of time, since any amendment would destroy tlie identity of the Bills. Mr Bonar Law retorted: “Then our discussion will be a complete farce.” Messrs. Birrell. McKenna, and lire reintroduced the three Bills, which were not discussed.
