A crowded meeting at Liverpool inaugurated the Liverpool Flying Corps, which was initiated by leading shipowners and the Chamber of Commerce of Liverpool to provide a Liverpool flying corps for the nation. Colonel Seeley wrote stating that the equipment of a squadron of the Royal Flying Corps would cost £40,000. It would, be of tho greatest value to the State.
