REGULATION OF SHIPMENT.
The London meat" trade' correspondent of the “Pastoralists’ Review” lias received the following comments upon an article by a NevCZealand correspondent, explaining why farmers did not and could not regulate the shipments of frozen meat First.—Til© idea, that the. former has to arrange the delivery of his lambs to suit the requirements of the market is surely an upside down way of looking at things. The market exists practically all the vear round ; nevertheless, the New Zealand farmei can only deliver lambs during a brief season—not exceeding six months on average. There is no compulsion laid upon "him to “wait until the London market, is clear of Australians”; in-p, deed if he waits for these, and the Argentine lambs being out of the way, ( < he will never be able to sell his lambs j ■ J
