LONDON SHEEPSKIN SALES. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT j LONDON, December 19. At the sheepskin sales 6340 Australasian skins were offered, and were practically cleared. There , was a good attendance and keen general competition. All descriptions were id above October rates, and short-woolled were on 3d. RIVER PLATE COMPANY. LONDON, December 19. The directors of the River Plate Company recommend a dividend of 19 per \ cent per annum for the year; including an interim dividend, £26,250 to be paid to the reserve and £SIBO carried forward. The approximate net profit is £65,000. The total reserve, including premium on new shares recently issued, will be £410,000.
